Mean Shift는 non-parametric clustering 알고리즘 또는 과정으로 K-means Clustering(Duda, Hart & Stork, 2001)에 비해 Shape of Distribution, 클러스터의 개수 등에 대한 사전 정보를 요구하지 않는점이 가장 큰 차이점 이다.
